Crayfish: Crayfish are commonly found in most of the united states (In the wild that is) and are sold in pet stores also. The most common colors are red, pink, and blue (that are both in the wild and in the pet store). From the wild they are usually red or orange.

Habitat: Crayfish are water animals but the do need a place for them to breathe air. If they are crayfish that you bought at a pet store then they do not need a place for them to breathe air. The perfect place for them is a aquarium about a five gallon. Some fish tank rocks for the bottom. And some rocks for them to sleep and hide under. And the finale touch water. I put about half a tank of water in my crayfishes tank. And they like it.

Diet: Crayfish from the wild are scavengers and eat almost every thing the could find. Mine are all from the wild and they eat little minnows (Baby fish). I do not know if there is something in pet stores that you can feed them. But i just feed mine feeder fish. Hope that is enough information, Ifa any questions please ask them on our questions page
