Parrots: Parrots come from almost every warm tropical climate. In the wild there are roughly 372 species of parrots. The come in virtually all colors and sizes (that is in the wild). The greatest diversity of parrots is found in south America and Australasia. Characteristic features of parrots include a strong curved bill, an upright stance, strong legs, and clawed feet.
Diet: The diet of parrots is mostly made up of seeds, fruit, nectar,pollen, buds, and sometime insects (but you will not need to feed your pet parrot all that).
